A case of bronchial adenoma in a child

Abstract

|
|
A bronchial adenoma. being one of rare neoplastic diseases in children, was reported in a 4 year-old-male child. The tumor was located entirely intraluminal in the left main bronchus and was treated with left pneumonectomy because of the irreversible cystic changes were revealed throughout the left lung on open thoracotomy. The tumor was histologically confirmed to be a muco-epidermoid type of bronchial adenoma.[KTCS 1969;1:19-24]
